We’re very happy to be supporting our local Sandford Cricket Club, and they held their annual sponsors evening recently in April at their headquarters in Creedy Park.
Their recent Crowdfunders Appeal has been very successful at producing funding for a number of high expense updates that were much needed to maintain the quality of the club, including new covers, a new tractor, a replacement motor roller engine and new bore hole. The Appeal raised in excess of £4000 with the help of their sponsors.
The evening also saw the introduction of the club’s new overseas batsman Matt Hopkins who has been playing as a middle order batsman for Penrish club in Sydney.
We’re very pleased to see the club able to continue the high quality of their facilities and wish them luck with the next cricket season.
